Salvatore Angius searched Long Beach for his escaped parrots — and never found them. But he discovered something extraordinary instead: 13 species of wild parrots living freely across California's cities, unnoticed by most. Over a decade later, that search has become California's most comprehensive wild parrot documentation project — 35+ cities, 9 expert contributors, and 6 major press features. This is where their story lives.
